The land around Redding and Shasta County ranges from softly rolling hills to valleys that plunge down hundreds of feet. There are foothills that are short and some that look more like mountains. Then there is the 14,162 foot tall Mt Shasta itself. This topography lends itself to some very challenging terrain for grading and paving.

With the proper timing and site management, we made it possible, and now, six years later that section of roadway is still in great repair and constant use. We don't recommend trying to do that sort of job on a regular basis, but should your timetable require it, we can accommodate you.
